Collected wheels this morning (very nice), cam locking kit returned (thank you Sir) water pump changed and cams locked for the new kit tomorrow. Intake removed all the way to block to check engine and allow thermostat to be done, can now see where cam covers have been leaking. Will. Have to get another cam cover gasket Monday now as only have one in the parts box.

Replaced 4 glowplugs on the 2.2 DTi with NGK ones.
Started with some trepidation after reading about likely problems I might encounter, but it was easy peasy, 40 minutes including a couple of farts and a fag break
 :) :)

I do and I'm back in on days Wednesday. :'(

Cam cover on 135 done today and inlet back on car runs sweet, two wheels back on and turned car around so I could work on rear brakes. I have a set of vented rear discs in the garage so rang dealer for a price on rear pads and a fitting kit as the rust has got to the spring on the pins, he said rear pads not on trade club so that will be £57.00 plus VAT, he had no idea about the fitting kit. ECP just over £20 for both (fitting kit will be here in the morning).

So why so much at the dealers and why not on trade club :'( and they have put the price of cam cover gaskets up this month.
