Took the ka in for mot yesterday

It failed which i expected being a ka.
Both front top mounts worn
Both wishbone bushes worn
1 rear axle bush worn
Rear handbrake ineffective
Rear brakes ineffective
1 advisory was a small corrosion area on chassis

So today changed both wishbones, and replaced both top mounts and bearings, all done in under 4 hrs.
Just waiting on brake parts to be delivered and a set of poly rear axle bushes.

Been determined to get to the bottom of some LPG injector issues I've been having...

So I cobbled together a test bed to characterise them. ::)

How many times has the filler flap surround been repaired?

And watch the rust, once they start they deteriorate very quickly.

You'll be doing most of that again for the next MOT.

They are truly shite in every respect.

If you need that type of car, and want Vauxhall, at least look at the Zafira-B, as it seems improved/refined on the original.

Aye , i can see that now . They look ok from the outside , this was 2.0dti in fast black but was very disappointed in every respect on the cabin trim and functions but i did get a good offer on mine , i was being cheeky as you do but he said ok  :o

£1100  :)
For a Zafira-A?

Was it top of the range ("Elegance") and in A1 perfect condition?  If not, way, way, way overpriced.

And the 2.0DTi was a hopeless engine when GM started fitting it, and hasn't aged well.
