First bit of service work on the VW, oil and filter change, new air filter and new pollen filter. All nice and straight forward, so pleased basic service work can be done by me.

Next need to get VAG software to do rear brake pads and fuel filter change.

Two new tyres on the Panda ( shopping trolley 😀😁😂) £50 so cheap, if only I liked small cars I could save a fortune !

Gave the 3.0 MV6 a workout,up to SLady bitshorpe and back again in under 8 hours including a 30min hold up on the M25 for the smallest of fender benders,that is one shite road! total distance 430 miles and still around a quarter of a tank of squirt left :y

And obviously, I drive fast enough not to be as annoying as a caravan ;D.

Actually, the reason for my lower mpg recently is because the little bastids have gone back to school and the usual dumb-arsed must-drive-20mph-below-the-speed-limit retards are back to driving, I am having to drive too slow to get acceptable mpg.  I supposed I should go into the correct office, when even driving quite briskly, I get > 22mpg @48ppl (probably cheaper at Asda, but those useless mongrels aren't worth the 800yrd detour off the M40).  The only way you'll get that out of a detuned VAG 2.0 diesel is to get in everybody's way ;)

I'm wearing out one of the plastic tyres fitted to the shitbox.  Its outside edge. I'm tempted to fit another cheap plastic tyre for £50, simply because a) I hate it, b) it doesn't go quick enough to need any form of grip, c) I hate it, d) it needs to go because I hate it

Drove said shitbox over to bro's to get the network cables terminated and new switches fitted, as part of this shop's refit.

Actually managed to squeal the tyres on the way home, so they must be finding some grip as they approach the bald as a badgers arse state.

Bloody lawn mower giving me trouble today, started fine but ran smokey and died. Removed float chamber, checked the  nut thing was clear. Reassemble  and start, ran then died straight away. 

Not been run in months, suspect water in the fuel or clogged carb.  :-\

Just topped it up with fresh fuel  :-\

I'll drain the tank and leave it to dry out I think, annoying I have one strip of cut grass now  ;D

Petrol does go off, so not a bad idea to drain, and go and buy fresh from Tesco.  If the 3.2 is fairly full, chuck the old stuff in there :y

If it ran smokey, it could be too rich a mixture and its being stared of air.
Might be worth taking the sponge air filter out.....giving it a wash with washing up liquid, let it dry, re-oil it and refit  :)
