Kens' issue is a different one :'(

Basically his new seats might be missing either the side airbags or the pretensioners... probably the latter, and will require swapping them from the CDX seats... an easy enough job as long as they're not in the bin :-\

Thanks for the heads up Dr G,still have the other seats,as I say have one connector from the car side that has no where to go on the MV6 seats which is spliced into the big yellow wire which I'm presuming is the feed to the airbags etc :-\

Yes side airbags fitted, just wondering wether I should have  connected the spare connector  as opposed to the one I did....possibly had the same result. :-\

Drove it to work and noticed the temp gauge didn't rise above 75 degrees during the 17 mile journey.
Lazy stat presumably. Not a job I particularily look forward to, but at least it isn't an expensive one.

Had four Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2's fitted to the daily driver.
Like others, I too am interested. Particularly in resistance to tramline when they wear a bit, and overall durability.  I assume grip is on par with RTs.

Probably, but impossible to tell remotely :'(  The srs plugs are colour coded, so you would be going some to confuse them :-\

Agreed,it's going up to Serek's next week,so not going stress out,as there's not much I can do about the airbag light until we can get a Tech2 on to it.Possibly the wiring may need 'modifying' :-\

After the experience of the broken thrust washer on the TD, on the Elite 3.2 at 62k, I dropped the gearbox sumps, after emptying the rear with an extractor pump, blew out the ATF cooler, and refitted with new filter and ATF. The old fluid wasn't filthy, but mid range discoloured. Disappointingly, it only took just over two litres of fluid to refill, despite much working of gears. (Yes the engine was running). It will be checked again in a week or so.This morning I replaced the diff oil, and although there is a slight weep from the front seal, I got the full litre out. Going to replace the brake fluid and coolant this afternoon, and try to trace the AC leak. :y

Unsurprisingly, on the test drive today, the drive was intermittent, probably because the torque converter was not full of ATF, sure enough, it took another two litres back on stands, and the next test drive was fine. However I will check it again in a couple of weeks. :y

Got the lawn mower purring like a cat today, stripped the Briggs and Stratton engine of its fuel tank, drained all the fuel, cleaned it left it to dry in the sun.

Removed air filter and carb on the engine, blasted and cleaned everything with carb cleaner. Cleaned and oiled the springs on the throttle linkage.

Reassembled and put some petrol back in it.

After about 5 tugs on the stater cable, remembered to re-attach the spark plug  ::)

Fired up straight away and runs fine.   8)
