Nothing. I never do anything to my car. I don't even wash it myself, and I haven't cleaned the inside for months. It just gets dirty again. Never mind.  ;D

Took the wheels off the Mondeo and dropped them off at a refurb place.  :)

Turns out two of them were slightly buckled so they'll get straightened out.  :y   Or should that be rounded out?  ???  :-\  :D

Dropped the Mondeo into my local ATS for a service, while I had a wander round and then drank coffee in Costa.  :y

Noticed a couple of new 'Turkish' barber shops have opened since I was last there.  ::)

Now now, Mr Tigger. I'm sure everything is all as it should be. ::)

Hmm how many barber shops does a typical English market town with a population of approximately 12,000 need?  ???

There were already three, and one of those was a big one with 6 chairs.  :-\

You're probably right though M'lud, it's all fine and above board.  ::)

No, I have no need to use them in my day to day life. I obviously have to use them in Sheffield, Leeds, etc, but they are mostly ticket free. Show your card, phone, whatever.

Drove it back to Mercedes for them to have another go at the brake booster recall.

Glad that I had the ABS issue resolved a couple of weeks ago, as 2 inches of snow would have been tedious... Don't get me wrong, messing around in snow is highly recommended, just not when you need to be somewhere.

That said, even on 18,000 mile old Goodyear Eagle F1s, it behaved impeccably.  8)

 ....

Does your Merc have electric power steering?
I ask because I got a recall letter from MB saying that they need to look at 3 bolts between the motor & the rack .... something about rust.
I 'm reluctant to take it due to the 'recall' re their emissions software update. The web is full of tales re the update & NOX sensors then failing, and owners taking their car in for other work to then find out that MB have done the update without their knowledge or permission.
There's also another recall re water ingress into the spare wheel well ....

It doesn't as it goes. No Dpf/Adblue or NOx sensors either. Which is nice. 8)

Your ML may be new enough to have escaped the booster recall :-\ Easy enough to check viable the DVLA MoT history checker ;)

Taking of NOx sensors there's a chap here who has bought his C Class in for an intermittent EML. Apparantly it's the NOx sensor. Interestingly, it is a 2016 car so would have had the recall for it in 2017. Fortunately he has the extended warranty so it's covers (whenif it comes off backorder :-X) the sensor and any breakdown in the meantime... Probably.

Took the Range Rover out the garage first time in two weeks, having a run out to Hunstanton, meeting some friends over there for a fish & chip lunch ( best in the area) and probably a pint, my kind of day..😄
