A few hundred miles. Effortless and comfortable, much like the Omega.  And it returned over 41mpg, calculated manually, although the FC only claimed 43mpg...

Mine’s loving the long runs. Look at the range, not too shabby for a large estate car.  ;D :y  I’ll soon trim that when I hoof it to York tomorrow.  ;D

Lane departure is even more annoying activating every ignition cycle on newer cars, rather than being driver activated. Of course if you indicate on every lane change, then this overrides it, but when I was taught to drive, the standard was to only indicate if there was someone to indicate to, or could benefit from the knowledge that you intend to change of lane or direction. And on the cars I drive quite regularly, it's a faff to disable it everytime you jump in a car.

You want to drive a New HGV,,, more bong bings than chuffing Orchestra,, Lane alert, mirror alert, speeding alert, Cyclists, turning warning, aebs, up to 4 cameras to look at, and 5 mirrors, unless you have a new fanglled With camera mirrors.

I drove an Audi Q7 with cameras instead of door mirrors. The screen for them was positioned at the edge of the dash by the A pillar. At the end of the journey I still hadn't got used to them as I constantly instinctively glanced where the original door mirror would have been - I think they would take a lot of getting used to, and I don't get the point of them? More to go wrong I guess....

My daughter works for a HGV manufacturer and whenever a driver turns up for a test drive they say ‘Oh god, it’s got those camera screens instead of mirrors’.  Their biggest gripe is the lack of perspective, as unlike normal mirrors, when you move your head to get a better view nothing changes.  ::)

Sick looking at sons filthy Civic outside the house. He doesnt see the point of having a clean car so doesnt wash it.
I washed it today and it came up lovely. Very shiny black.
I then tidied out and vacuumed the interior as I was fed up wiping my feet when I got out of it.
Was he full of thanks ? was he f............... ::)

Possibly, although feels a bit like pi$$ing into the wind with a 2.5t SUV designed with all the aerodynamic flair of a 3 bed semi.

IMO it's just another gadget, which is basically all new cars have to differentiate themselves these days.
