I'd love your old Cadillac badging as I think driving a Caddy has more cred than driving a Vauxhall!!!!!
I know exactly what you mean but here we have nothing but Cadillacs so driving an Opel actually makes it more exclusive because they are non existent...
Same as if you were driving a Cadillac in the European Continent... so if anyone wants the Caddy grille I will look around for something!
...what about a complete car, Cat - are they fetching strong money over there?
Well to be honest they have gaind a reputation of being a car that brakes a lot and costs too much to fix often due to the fact that the dealer is the one who is rippign their customers off.
One of the members had a quote for full brake job on the car and it topped 1000$, and the parts cost no more then 200$... so go figure!
Otherwise as far as prices go they started selling those in 97 so you can find them between 1000-2000$.
If you go 2001 Sport = 2001 Omega MV6 trim but with automatic then you can get to around 4000-5000$.
I recently found a 2000 Sport with 79K for 3100$ whcih was dirt cheap and the car was in immacualate condition.
A lot of people also dont know about these cars and the lack of them on the roads makes them like ghosts, they pass unnoticed to most of the motorists.
THen you see one like mine and 90% of the motorists either turn around to get a better look or they take pictures... LOL
