i thought i may have had problems, but fine for me returning from London.

Marylebone was packed, all Aylesbury trains where cancelled due to a flood. Speaking to some people who had been there since 4PM waiting to get to Stratford-Upon-Avon (same train i get) said all the previous ones had been canceled!  :o

I turned up at 7:20 after having being down the pub, the 7:30 was on-time and my station was the second stop!  :D

My son left Huddersfield at 13:00 to drive to Swindon area ... still not here ... just texted from junction 6 M5 ..seems the M5 has just been closed, don't know which side of 6 he is :(

Apparently according to his on-board computer he has averaged 22 mph :(

Wonder what time he'll get in  :-/

[edit] Further text, road is closed infront of him... hes now trying to work out a route home ...  :-[

Worrying time for all of you down there, waiting for your family and friends. My thoughts are with you all. Try to keep safe, warm and dry. :)

Mrs TheBoy had a stressful journey home, and must have got to her a bit.  So we started straight on the malts. So if my typing is bad, its all her fault for getting me ratarsed.
