Next Day Out
« on: 03 August 2007, 10:46:50 »

I want to go to Warwick Castle, also Drayton Manor Park........

I enjoyed The American Adventure last time i went so looked on the net for the opening times etc and its closed and selling its rides :(
Wonder how much they want for their Log Flume and if it will go in the garden?? ;D

Anyone been to Warwick Castle? was it good? I am looking forward to the Jousting and cheering like the rest of the kids  ;D

Anyone got any more ideas for family days out? :y

Chester Zoo is worth a look if you like that sort of thing
(may be able to sort you out 1/2 price entry as well)

Snibberton discovery park is pretty good, Leicester space centre is excellent.

Warwick castle is ok but, like most Tussaurds places, its not cheap.

Cosford is good if you like planes (and free)

Warwick castle was a hit with my kids (6&13 at the time).  I was surprised, I thought they might be bored, but they wandered round all the rooms and even did the long step climb round the outer walls.

But as Mark says, be prepared to be shafted on the price.  Tickets are OK if you use tesco clubcard vouchers though :y

Took the girls to Chester Zoo about two years ago and they loved it, that was on our list too, so if you could get us some tickets that would be brilliant thanks :y
