Deffo.

IMHO signatures should be purely text and smiley based, no graphics

Big improvement,
On a scale with Martins now, which i've never found intrusive.

Personally, and no offence meant to anyone, they do get over used.

I don't want to see a pic of your car( there is the gallery for that, or some mad graphic every post you make, just fills up my screen and wastes bandwidth, and can make threads much longer than they need to be.

Hyperlinks, text, smileys all fine by me.

As I prevously stated, that is just my preference, dont expect people to change sig's based on my opinions.
I know this is a problem on a lot of boards, with some now putting tiny size limits on signatures for those reasons.
