Blocked Window Washer Jet
« on: 27 November 2007, 18:08:43 »

The Driver's side windscreen washer jets just suddenly stopped working although the passenger side still works well. Can anyone suggest what the cause of this might be(nothing obvious blocking the jets from the outside)?
Any help would be appreciated as I'm really starting to need them now.

"Hello" and welcome .. :)

You will get a far better response if you post your question in "General Help" as not everyone on the forum reads this section !!

If you update your profile to include the vehicle detailsand your location it will also save folks having to ask every time   !!

AFAIK if one jet works and the other doesn't it is a blockage of some sort ... somewhere ...  :(

Hello & Welcome  :y

could always try a bit of thin wire in the nozzle to check for blockages

Hi and welcome.
I had the same problem and found the jet was totally blocked and was unable to clear it waith needle or air line. Had to replace and within a month the other side went the same way. If you find that yours is the same, I advise to change the both at the same time, couple of quid and about 10 - 15 minutes work. HTH

Howdoo, and welcome to the site...  As others have said, post up in the tech help section and no doubt someone will advise or, better still, use the search function and see what is suggested elsewhere.....   Relatively easy fix!!   :y
