Modifying an Omega
« on: 08 December 2007, 17:07:56 »

:-? I've currently got an Omega 2.2 CDX but am considering modifying.

I'm thinking about putting a V8 into it and modistly adding a body kit. I like the MV6 body kit, where could i get one fitted to my current CDX.

Shall I add a V8 or not?

As said, you can't buy the irmscher kits anymore :(, there are other kits on the market, depends on how far you want to go in terms of keeping the car original :y.....Oh and welcome to the Forum, there is a nice elite on ebay at the mo with full irmscher kit on pre-facelift :y

Welcome.

V8 would need stronger box, better brakes, revised suspension. Don't do it by halves ;)

Which V8 you thinking of?

We had a member stick a 3.6 twin turbo from an LC in his Omega....
