Scottish Newbie
« on: 18 August 2008, 23:04:42 »

Hi,

My name's Jerry (you might have guessed!) from Perth and I currently own a 2001 Vectra B SRi150.

However, I'm possibly selling and can't stray from Vx's as I've had several from Novas to Vec GSi and recently finished restoring a 2.0 Vec Supertouring for the wifes 1st car. So a suitable replacement could well be an Omega for me (3 kids and a dog to manouver!).

I'm looking at MV6 estates - pre March 01 for obvious reasons - as I fancy something a little bigger but still fun to drive.

Any advice or buying suggestions will be greatfully received.  :y

And if I do get round to buying one, hope to meet some of you as well!

Cheers

Howdoo and welcome to OOF.  Lots of good info here on the Omegabarge as well as the assorted common engine variants used across the entire VX range.

If you check the FAQ area and the other Tech Info and Maint Guides, no doubt you will find numerous good and bad but, be assured, lots of clever folks on here willing to share their info to keep the cars in the manner we would like them to become accustomed.

Slainge!
