Buying 1st omega
« on: 04 March 2009, 00:46:01 »

Hi People  :)

Well i,m migrating from the Mgrover forums as i,m looking to trade my Rover 75 in for a W reg 3.0 elite auto. I,m looking to get her either this thursday or tuesday, not seen her yet but the trader says she in a1 condition but then they always say that lol. Can anyone give me advice on what to look out for please. All i know so far is shes done 118,000 miles has pretty  good service history and like my rover is fully loaded. She has sat-nav as well which i did,nt know the omegas had got it on the rover as it has the bmw tv/sat-nav unit so any and all advice much appreciated cheers in advance :)

Hello and welcome  :y  As you have probably picked up elsewhere in the forum ... check the service history, in particular, when the cambelt and tensioners were last replaced. This really is a must know !!! S/B changed every 40K or 4 years ---- if it goes your new car will die !!!
