Help my car is poorly?
« on: 29 April 2009, 12:31:58 »

Hi Guys (new to the site)

I recently purchased a Omega 2.6 V6 Auto on a 2001 plate, nice car, unfortunately, it came at a price, I have just been hit with a bill of £300 for a Fuel Air Meter fixed by Vauxhall themselves, £76 labour charge x 2 plus the part youch!, they kindly gave me a list of issues as follows: rusty exhaust, Oil leak from engine, leak from aircon unit, break pads on rear at 20%, thanks for scaring me to death, recently made redundant like the other 2-3 million poor beggers out there, cash tight, but need the car for interviews etc, must be in tip top condition, so have asked a locl garage to carry out a service and check all of the above then hit me with a price to repaire/fix. yesterday the central locking started to play up, the drivers door latch does not move when I use the key fob to open or lock the doors, all the other doors lock but then open up again, the only way to lock the doors seems to be by putting the key in the door manually, can anybody give me some advice with this please, and could someone also point me in the direction of cheap parts, happy with Recon? :y

Hello & Welcome  :y

Nothing too serous there, breakers on here can supply many parts, such as the new central locking motor it sounds like you need.

You cant post in that section, as you dont have enough posts, but if you created wanted's in the test section, they should get moved for you.
