Opening doors when battery is flat and key slips
« on: 18 August 2009, 14:09:24 »

Does anyone know how to open the car when the battery is completely flat and the key doesn't engage? I left the boot open and the battery is completely down.
I try the key and it begins to lift the latch but then it slips and the latch drops.

have you actually tried the handle after this?

it may be open, but no power causes central locking weirdness  :y

Hello and a very warm welcome to you! :y

Had exactly the same problem as you last year, and after breaking my key in the lock discovered as Jimbob correctly states that although the button was still down, the handle would lift to open the door!! ::) ::) :D ;)
