Hi, I drive a 2.5 V6 CDX 1998 (R) manual. I've had (and am having!) a few problems with it and have found this site very helpful - particularly the ABS/Traction control warning light advice - got my ABS ECU sent off (ecu-testing.com)and fixed and it's hunky dory now (a garage did the taking off and putting back on)
It's now got an oil leak (smoke billows out of the bonnet from oil burning off the exhaust manifold, downpipes etc.) so I am thinking of having a crack at doing the cam cover gaskets after reading the excellent guide on this site.
What I haven't managed to find so far is comprehensive guidance on how to remove an alternator (Bosch 120 PU) and replace the bearings - my alternator has been whining for years but lately has been getting worse (same as the wife). I did finally manage to remove the alternator today with the help of a friend (and not much help from Haynes). I daresay I'll be posting pleas for help some time soon as battle with the bearings commences!
