Newbie soon to own an Omega
« on: 15 October 2009, 19:37:55 »

Hi all,

My name is Rich, from Sheffield. I am looking to get an Omega in the next few weeks.

I have had a mk4 Astra 1.7 Diesel, and currently drive a 1.8 Vectra B SXI.

Not sure which engine to get yet, or even whether to get a pre face or facelifted Omega...  :-/

Welcome to OOF Rich :y

Aim for a late mini-facelife, better build quality (especially the interior) and go for a V6 elite or the 2.5TD versions

Hi Rich. I think the facelift models may be better build quality. Also the V6s are lovely engines, but the 2.2 is nice and probably costs a bit less to run so it might depend on how deep your pockets are! :) :y ;)
