Professional complainer....me ?
« on: 28 August 2007, 13:23:48 »

Yes i am!!

Working in the service sector, dealing with Joe Public has seen me turn into a professional complainer.

Due to a multitude of problems, DPA breach and abusive advisors i got the nearly £400 of credit from a certain well known Pay Tv company last year.......

Recently my credit card company annoyed me ( i had a post on here about it) they declined a transaction due to moral issues...i wanted to gamble on football scores they wouldnt allow it....that fiasco earned me £125 credit to my card on Friday ;D via the chief Execs office

Last night our fortnightly online shop from a certain well known supermarket turned up AGAIN without any cheese ( out of stock) this happened a fortnight ago with a different cheese from the same store  >:( I need my Cheddar  :(....dont Tesco stock cheese? Well they do cos i was in the store today and they had bucket loads of the one they couldnt supply.....

Anyway email complaint just answered - they are sending me today - via delivery driver 2 lumps of the stuff free and will credit me with a £10 voucher.

Anyone else recoup lots from inefficient companies?

Me, I have so many disputes with various companies, I just couldn't be bothered.  Currently, Barclaycard, Dell, EDF are on my list....

[size=14]ME!!!!!! i'm a good complainer as well. . . . . last year i refused to pay orange for my broadband as the service was SHI*E and kept going off. ended up i should of owed them over £100 but because i kept complaining and saying i wasn't going to pay for an inadiquate service and told them i wanted to speak to a managerand i wasn't having any excuses like he's out at lunch or in a meeting!!!! they wrote it off and i had free broadband. <for my inconvience>

and recently  i've been having trouble with my contract mobile and been complaining so they credited me with £10. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't start me on them. I used to regularly go away to Devon with the lads I know from school times. Picture the scene: provisions for 8 blokes for a week. Total online order value about 500 quid of which about 70 quid was sausages, burgers, bacon, etc. the rest was booze, of course.

The guy comes up to me and says one of the bottles of wine we ordered was out of stock and would this one be OK? Without giving it a second thought I said yes. There were hardly any connoiseurs in our group after all.

Imagine the P*SS taking I got when a bottle of non-alcoholic white wine was discovered in the fridge!

We had just ordered enough booze to irreparably damage the suspension on his delivery truck and someone decided we'd like a bottle of non-alcoholic wine  >:(

I think Laidback will confirm that I am king of the whingebags and have received THOUSANDS over the years!

Even today, AA sent me a £20 M&S voucher because my new AA breakdown cover was a day late in being sent out.

My wife calls me a conman.....so far Ive had something like £280 sh credited to me from NTL/VIRGIN for poor service and loss of telephone line (mate chopped through it but that's not the point  ;D)....and through treats to leave they upgrade me several times so now get 2mb Internet...24/7 free calls and full TV package for £34 monthly thats on top of having some of the monthly bills canceled out.

McDonald's every single time i order they get it wrong (plain burger is so hard to understand) so its either a second correct meal plus a £10 voucher...or if they get the second meal wrong then its a minimum of a £20 voucher and a the correct meal depends how annoyed i get.

Littlewoods catalogue recently tried charging my wife for goods sent but never received so made them re credit her account with the value of goods plus 15% of there value (couriers are really rather slack now days).

British gas failed to create a new account despite being informed of our new address and after many heated debates i finally had six months worth of gas usage wiped off the bill.

Whilst in our old house Sky had an offer if you joined you would get £50 of M & S (for introducing a friend if memory serves me correct) well they took so long too arrive i complained and threatened that both myself and the person i recommended would leave they sent another £50 in vouchers so the wife was happy with £100 to spend.

Safestyle UK (im ashamed to admit Ive used them  ;D) fitted two doors and three windows and whilst they seem OK they have had to come back 4 times for adjustment so kicked off and had a rant and they offered me £10 in compo......after telling them the £5000 porch i was going to agree to have them build was now a non starter they suddenly changed there minds and sent £50 and a window cleaning kit....i then placed the order with Zenith and payed just over £4000. ;D

I don't really call reclaiming bank charges as complaining but Ive had £485 repaid from Alliance and Leicester and in court Friday for £1685 from Nationwide and just started a CLAIM FOR £1100 from Barclay's.

Cant think of any others just now....well not any id post on a public forum any way. :-[
