confused about a button

hi i have a 1999 t reg omega that doesnt have the owners manual its an auto model 2.0 gls i was just woundering if anyone could tell me what the button next to gear stick that has a pic of an icicle on does. thanks

hello & Welcome.

Its for starting off in ice or mud, basically uses 2nd gear instead of 1st  :y

Welcome to the site :)

Its ice mode for gearbox - stops it using low gears (pulls off in 3rd etc). Remains in snow mode until you disengage, stop car or hit 50mph
