Hi from Blighty!
« on: 12 November 2009, 08:15:44 »

Hello all, I've just been given a Vauxhall Omega to complete the 2010 Mongol Charity Rally... It's in a bit of a state, the boot is locked because the battery is dead, the windows are all down as there would appear to be faulty electrics and it needs part of a new exhaust... The most immediate thing is to get the windows up before it gets fully into winter to stop the damp getting in... any suggestions on how to do this?

Welcome!  All sounds exciting-you'll get all the help you will ever need on here to make the journey.

Update your profile and use the maintenance section to post queries.  I have only recently joined and my Omega which was past its best is now nearly done thanks to this great site  :y :y

At least the windows are open so you can reach the bonnet pull to get started.....keep at it  :y
