Picked my first Omega up today after months (literally), certainly from the summer of looking and waiting for the right one.
Biggest problem I have been finding is that people overprice these cars so much! And I mean overprice. Double what they should be! These cars arent something that you see at your local garage and want to buy for a runaround. You're definately in the market for one if you're looking for one.
Anyway, picked up an X reg 2.5 V6, 88k, FSH (very comprehensive), Full Leather, Xenons, BOSE, All the usual spec. Less than £1500.00.
Must say Im unbelievably impressed with the car.
The smoothness of it is out of this world. Ive been used to Fords and Renaults!
I have worked at BMW and this car is as nice to drive as any 3 or 5 Series. It really is.
I am a bit dissapointed on how ''slow'' it is (I know it isnt mega slow, but you know what I mean). On the motorway with the kickdown, different story! Its pretty quick, but for round town not a quick as I thought it would be. Maybe with it being AUTO. Has a different style of delivery of power.
Im far from dissapointed though. Im THOROUGHLY delighted with the car!
Dont know how Ill stomach the petrol consumption though!
