Just got back too - 2hrs 30mins despite an accident on the M40 a few hundred yards in front of us which caused the motorway to be closed for 20 mins. Had to go straight to the pub to have a hair of the dog to sort me head out!! ::)

Once again, another excellent OOF piss-up meet! :y Good to meet a few more new faces aswell the well known onces and a big thanks to Timbuk for putting us up in Hotel Bastardos (again!!) Nice one Doug, cheers mate :y

Have loads of pics but haven't had a chance to download them yet, but will post them up soon.

Oh yes.......and a BIG thanks to Martin for organizing the whole weekend. Absolutely superb camp site and facilities. :y :y

Made it back by around 3pm - only 80 miles :(

Was making reasonable time (despite some sidiot in a Vectra trying to slow me down up Birdlip) until I hit the A34, as a motorcylists had decided to call it a day, with the resultant traffic jams...

We had a good run back to Stoke too, via Nantwich to drop the "Towed Home" off..  (Can't mention the " C.A.R.A.V.A.N " word) A certain Greenhouse owning Tractor driver says so  :P :P..   Had the gearbox upgrade done at the meet, I've noticed some serious advantages to the gear changes and general drivability of the Meega...  will post specific details seperately later...  Had a magic time, with some magic people, didn't we Hotel21?...  Magic Whiskey Bottles ;D ;D ;D ;D

Anyway thanks to all for a super weekend... can't wait for the Christmas party............

Got home at 1800. Clear road in front of us although I did notice there was quite a bit of traffic in the rear view mirror.  ::)

Mentioned elsewhere, great weekend, great company, Mavis was a bit scary but we got over that. I'm sure this would be a good venue for future meets.

Nursing a bit of a sore head now and just feeling disappointed that it's all over. Hopefully see you all again in the near future and that loads more can come next time.

I agree with both of those statements!

I'm sat here, 7pm on a Sunday evening, drinking SOFT drinks  :-[
