Facelift?
« on: 09 January 2011, 22:45:49 »

Hi
Looking at the posts, I see several references to facelift and prefacelift.
How do I know what sort mine is?
I'm looking for help with my bonnet-mounted screen washer jets that are now only just reaching the windscreen since the cold weather.

If yours is a "V" plate as per your profile, you`ve got a mini-facelift.

Hi, welcome to the forum.   :y

Quick tell tale sign.

Face lift has the radiator grill fitted to the bonnet and all lift together.

Mini/pre face lift the radiator grill stays in place when bonnet os lifted.

Hello & Welcome  :y

I guess either your washer pump is tired, or more likely the strainer it sits in is blocked, remove your grille, pulll the pump out and the 'grommit' between it and the tank, the grommit drops into the tank and has a strainer in the bottom which get sblocked reducing flow.

Check the maint guide index in my signature for the full how 2 procedure.
