Hand Brake Failure.

Hi, guys!

First post so please be gentle!

I've lost the hand brake on my 2001 2.2 diesel Omega! It lifts up and down ok but whatever it was connected to has gone!!

Any ideas...?

Hello & Welcome, sounds like the cable has snapped or similar.

if you look at the top of the maint guide section, there is an index, there is one on servicing your rear and parking brakes, should give you some pointers on where to look.

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.
