Intermittant ABS TC and speedo fault?

Well guys the ABS and TC light came on and about the same time the speedo stopped working got a about 2 miles down the road and the lights went off and speedo came back to life then lights flickered on then went off I'm guessing a dirty sensor do you know where they are located or any other ideas of what this fault could be? facelift 3.0MV6

Well if its speedo related then its most likely one of the rear sensors.....check also the plug on the main ABS ecu (end of the modulator on the passenger side of the engine bay)

Sorry to be possible bearer of bad news, but every one I've seen with this fault has needed a new ABS ECU :(

Not a mini facelift or very early facelift by any chance?

I've heard of a company selling recon ones for a couple of hundred, but they tend to have faults on as well :(

Also, if you do have to replace, ensure you get right one - you'll probably need ident code off old one.

The unit itself is around £300 + VAT, and you would be looking at least the same again to fit it.

There is a "how to" in the maintenance guides on here.

Deffo not a fun job though.
