ok mate thanks for the info, but how would i go about getting the transponder matched to the immobiliser? Is this a job for a tech2 then?

Yes, a real Tech2 required to do that...  ...car a carpass (will have your immobiliser PIN on it)

 ::) Thanks for that had to send off to Vx for a car pass never had one, looks like mr Vx man is going to have a field day with my bank account then unless you know any place local whos got one?

Mine does.....tried it today when i was playing  ;) no errors stored...but as you say MJ.....its hit and miss!

The carpass prices varies from dealer to dealer, so shop around.

Try local independent garages, see if they are able to program the transponders.

AFAIK, I am the only member here with a proper Tech2 device.
