Chris says hole in the middle, Jaime says hole on the right  :-/

Sorry, its is the brass hole. Thought you were on about rh pad.


To confirm, it clips in brass hole, which would be halfway up pad.

But....your not implying i have to take the caliper off again are you to fit the sensor??

But....your not implying i have to take the caliper off again are you to fit the sensor??
Might have to undo bottom bolt and pivot. I find it easier to fit sensor to pad before fitting pad...

No you don't need to remove the caliper to fit the sensor - just line the pin of the sensor up with the hole of the clip and push carefully

okay dokey thanks.....i'll have a go at the weekend  :y

if the vx dealer that last changed the pads (done under networkQ) and broke it off and didnt bother to replace it , had replaced it (doubt they would get paid for changing it so didnt) then i would of known where it went  >:(

Oh and i'll post some pics in a bit of the state of the old pads.....coz the mid wasnt telling me i needed new pads....cheers vx dealer  >:(

Oddly, I tend to find it easier and less fiddly lifting the caliper....  :-/

What's plugged in to the sensor lead plug? the usual trick/bodge (however you look at it! ::) ) is to plug an old worn out sensor lead in to the plug, cut the ceramic bit off and then bare and short the two wires out to kid the display.

Old sensor was still pluged in....at the connector end....the sensor bit was just dangling in the breeze....but broken off....the ceramic bit the sensor end was half missing....i the probe/sensor bit was snapped off
