thingy in the boot

what is the thing called in the boot of the estate like a parcel shelf . my 1 makes a sqeeking sound as i drive and it drives me mad as i am in the car for about 12 hours . is this a common problem and how do i solve it

Try some silicone spray on the runners, and make sure that the mounting screws for the sides are tight
