need help quick

just jump started a car and know my battery light stays on when i turn off the car along with the range screen brake light check screen even when the keys are removed pls help

Sounds like one of the relays is staying closed when it should open to disconnect power. Are you sure you've removed anything that can supply power to the car? What I mean is, did you use anything other than jump leads connected to the battery? If you apply power through the lighter socket it can do this.

no just jump leads so if i tap the relay it might sort its self out but leve the hammer in the tool box for this thanks for some info on this

knacker ign switch? Perhaps this is why battery went flat?

same thing happend to me but on a granada.it turned out to be a fuse

This is a weird one.  :-/

Only thing I can think is the load drop on the system when the other car was jump started has caused a relay to stick open?

I await Marks suggestion....
