By two in the pack, I think it will be one gasket for each cam housing so yes you will need the four.
V0090511451 is a pack to do one cam cover, you need two of those unit price £26.60 each
V0090411826 o rings you need 8 of them per cam cover so 16 @ 14p each
V0009195109 spark plugs 6@ £3.23 each

Print out the guide and you will be fine, just take it slow and methodical.
Next time you do it its a lot easier, and make sure you use a small torque wrench on the cam cover bolts if they are overtightened it will undo all your good work.

Its only 8Nm. I got a little quarter drive one from fleabay thats great for jobs like this.
If you overtighten, the plastic cam cover will distort and cause a leak so it's rather important to get it right.
Better to find out now than when it's stripped down and you're stuck. ;)

blue magnecor leads are good but from memory about £130 inc. VAT - still cheaper than Vx ones which are approx. £90 PER SIDE  :o

really? £180 for 6 leads? I`d be checking that dealer against another :-/

Bloody `ell.......  :o i was quoted "around £100" before a discount by my dealer when i deliberated over changing the leads on Bob Dents estate....not on trade but reckoned he would get me a wee bit off when buying some trade stuff.....

On HT leads, Autovaux quoted me about 20 quid (bit under as I recall) for 4 pot leads (Hella), so I guess maybe £30-40 for V6.

I DID IT!!  ;D

Could not wait for friday so did the cam covers and spark plugs today..

Took me 5 hours on my own and all seems to be well... no misfire, idle is smooth and power seems good.

The breathers in the plastic part on the plenum were totally blocked, took about 20 minutes to clean them out.

the troublesom spark plug came out ok with a bit more force

The drivers side cover was easy the passenger side was an absolute Bxxtered.. those wires and spark plug leads made things really difficult..

I guess only time will tell if the seals are holding..just wait for that oil to seep onto the plugs again (stupid design)

Thanks everybody for your help with this, i am very pleased with myself at the moment..

Please to hear it :)

The passenger side is more fiddly, I normally get Mrs TheBoy to hold cables out of the way.

I kicked mrs dean into touch  ;) so no one around to help...but i did it eventually... I am just hopeing the the gasket did'nt move.. it felt ok when in position nothing bulging out of the sides. so fingers crossed.

Was thinking i wonder if some sealant around the spark plugs was prevent and oil from penetratign andcausing the problem?
