Paint code
« on: 08 November 2007, 18:52:18 »

Is there any date on the forum of paint codes and their colours, I have looked but cannot see any mention of them

Am i right in thinking that the paint code is on a lable on the drivers door pillar and starts with a letter Z. I need to get paint for my spoiler.

Thanks

Talking for here (my country)  paint codes dont solve the problem alone..As the colors fade from the sun.Worth trying the mixture on another surface before actual paint..

Hmmmmm, mine dont look like that on the 2003 model, no 3 digit number for paint code, just a number with a Z in front of the 2 digit number.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Buy genuine VX paint then, or have it made up from a bodyshop/paint specialist. Halfrauds is crap.

Shouldn't be a problem, Von Miggy's car is fairly new and clearcoated.

If I were you, i'd take it to a bodyshop for a proper job, a local guy near us wouldn't charge more than about £50 to do a spot on job. Also a chance to perhaps have scuffs on bumpers repaired etc. Get it done properly, it will look so much better on your newer motor  :y
