heater matrix

as every one is complaining about there heaters,
can some one tell me how to flush the heater matrix.
it's always mentioned but knowbody says how to do it .

You need to remove both hoses to the matrix and apply a hose pipe to one of the holes left and flush then go in the other hole and back flush.

is there a way of doing it with out striping the dash to acess the matrix,
can i get at the pipes in the engine bay somewhere.

I dont think so,

if you dont remove the dash completely and try to play with matrix you will break some plastic parts holding the screws on the dash (one is just behind the big plastic pipe behind the steering wheel be careful)

yes mate under bonnet down drivers side of engine you will see pipes coming out of bulkhead  :y

Just look down between the brake servo and engine at the bulk head, you will see 2 pipes comeing through. remove the clips and attatch a hose to one and flush the matrix untill clear water comes out . Reconnect the hoses and refill with coolant.
