Replacement Windscreen?

hi all, Anyone know the ceapest place to get replacment windscreen in northwest??

Yes, insurer if you have windscreen cover. Otherwise, I guess its a case of ringing around the yellow pages, unless any members local have recommendations....

If you ring Autowindscreens etc, give em your reg number, they can confirm if your insurer deals with them, in which case you pay the windscreen excess of about £60-70

Hi. Dave Jackson Windscreens in Chester. Local one man band been in the job for 20 plus years always willing to help and will supply used screens on request. If you require further info please pm me and I'll let you have his details or you can find him in the phone book.

hi, I have had two good deals through what was Auto windscreens before the RAC swallowed them.
There used to be one of their smaller branches down the road frome me.
First deal was a Ford Heated screen. Quoted £465, more tan the cost me. I said it was not through insurance as I was onlycovered TPFT. He made a few calls to area manager & I got it fitted for about £220.
Second one was a vectra I had with scratched glass all round. Had the lot reglazed (exc sunroof) for about £750.
So I would suggest trying a small depot which belongs to one of the nationals.
