cant suss this out

ok. cars still conking out it will tick over for a few seconds but then it just dies. so far i changed the crank sensor ( vauxhall ). airflow meter. idle control valve. and double checked for air leaks. it starts and runs fine it even ticks over fine as well until it turns it self off. really starting to lose it now. can anybody think of something i missed :'(

19, the infamous 19

that will be the crank sensor and cause of your woes.

Change that, and the other may magically disappear

Get rid of 19 (which can cause engine to cut), then see what happens with 57...

o yeh i just remembered today i pulled the electrical conection off the idle controll valve and it stopped cutting out . that does not surprise me because if i sit with my foot on the gas  keeping it about 600-700 revs it wont cut out. so i fitted my mates i.c.v but it still cuts out leading me to beleve its not that.

went outside and unpluged the crankshaft sensor and pluged it back in. guess what? yes everything is working fine ticking over perfect like nothing was ever wrong in the first place. can anybody make sense of this problem?? :-?

Quite often when they fail, they go intermittent.  Dont be surprised if it fails again soon
