Well I sorted the TC this morning, plugged the switch back in and screwed the ash tray back whilst I was at...

Jut looking for a nice head unit now, sod waiting for them,

Just tying to find some thing that can be made to work with the wheel controls & the dash disply, oh it's need to match up with the dash and play MP3's...

Dont want much do I :p

Don't forget to send the bill to the RAC though.... :y

It's not just the connector come loose at the back of the head unit, I assume?

Kevin

maybe, it looks to work fine as such, it changes disks ect but there no audio, got a late start tomorrow so I might pull it out and check

It gets better !

The radio cage was bent so bad the ISO plug would not go in fully, the reason been the tracker loom was in the way of the cage going fully home... Also part of the platic that holds the cage in place has been snaped off...

The traction control multi plug wont go on the switch as the pleb as drilled the the back of the TC swicth panel and routed the wiring threw there. any way Ive pictured the lot and made it right.

Writen complants going to Slaters Vauxhall, RAC and Norwich Union

for added shits & Giggles my old man is picking up a new motor on mobilty from Slaters on Saturday, he's just rung mobilty up and told them due to the lack of service he wont have any thing to do with them.

Really pissed me off has this. and now work need me to cover till 11pm because a manager is off sick and I have to drive to bleeding Leeds Saturday morning for 9am

Rant over :(

Nope... not yet.

Sorted it my self though, took me a whole 5 mins,

I've always, always worked on my own cars in the past and now I remember why.

I guess there is some kind of karma thing going, as my dad used to have a Vauxhall dealership (Family firm) and I wanted nothing to do with it... :)

I know what you mean. I'm filled with dread whenever I have to entrust a car to anyone.

in the complaint letter i would be asking for some srt of compansation for at least the shoddy workmanship, they should replace the damaged parts period, their is no excuse for the damage and not fixing it.
It looks like a pack of monkeys at the zoo could do a better job!!!
