So, 57,59 and now 19.   Though no 31 - is that cause I get 19?

What is the part no. I'll need?  And looking at other threads - genuine vaux only?

59 Inlet Manifold valve 1 (at the rear of the engine I think) voltage low

If you look on ebay for "omega crank shaft", often the ads list the vaux part numbers along side the engines they fit.
 
eg. one of the few listed at the moment.
 Omega B 1994-2003; X25XE, Y26XE, X30XE, Y32SE engines

Replace the Crank Sensor first, then worry about the other codes. Crank sensor failure / failing can kick up other codes because the ecu is getting the wrong info.

Need to unplug it where it plugs into the loom and have a look at the plug and see what style it is.

Likely to be later style - 90492061 - but you really do need to check!

It's somewhere around the cable tray on the nearside, I think the location varies but you are simply looking for the three pin plug.

My Mrs's car is a 1998 R reg. I bought a new Crank Sensor yesterday from Vx, which they call Oval (but is rectangle with radiused corners) part number 90492061 for  £49.35 using TC...
I personally would not buy another CS off ebay as mine broke down within 6-8 weeks and the price wasn't much difference either

the "Oval" one looks like this mate.. the connector on the right is the wiring loom on the car, the connector on the left is the Crank Sensor.
