Hi all
Apologies if on wrong forum what is the difference between Elite Estate and Elite Saloon as one as popped up on ebay and fancy a estate but not sure if i will be disapointed

Well the estate has a square back and no boot unlike the saloon

Think the olny thing you lose with an estate...is some sound quality
I think the bose speaker setup is better in the saloon than estate (both should be bose though)

Once you have an estate you will never go back to a saloon as they are just so versatile (You can even fit the lid of a Steinway grand piano in one), even the Queen drives one!

Estate u get rear wash n wipe, but lose rear window blind from saloon.  Differences in exhaust system (not interchangable).  Bose sound ok in both.  Otherwise spec same, shape different.

The rear seats in the estate are not as comfy..
Bit more noise on the estate due to the open back

Bose is not as good in the estate and its a bit noisier due to the backend being open.

If you are a Serial Killer, then the Estate is best as you can get at least 9 bodies in there without having to get out the chainsaw

I took an old bed to the dump in my Estate at the weekend - and still managed to close the tailgate.   8-)

i have an elite estate
cant comment on the seats as i dont sit in them
sound from the bose system is fantastic
better space for carrying large loads (inc mother inlaw)
look nice for the size of the car
all equipment is the same apart from the rear blind but you get a rear wash wipe:)

The great feature of an estate is with the back seats down you have an instant bed....great for a dirty afternoon....saves a fortune on hotel rooms!

Do bear in mind you must of a certain age to own an estate. You must have 2/3 kids, 1 labrador. I believe pipe/slippers/hat are optional
