I don't have a timed interval wipe on my Mig. I have chance of getting one from another Mig. Is it a case of remove old one & replace with new one or will it just not work?

To clarify, i don't have the little wheel to adjust the interval speed & i would like one

I think its just the stalk you need, and maybe the relay too :-/

Dont know about on a meega, but its a common addition to a Vectra.

On those you need the stalk and a relay, and think you need a little easy wiring as well.

Have a look on VVOC, sure there is a how2 on there from when my father in law did it.

The connectors used on the later cars are not the same as the earlier ones.

I bought a stalk with variable control, from an earlier car, for my 03 2.6, although the wiper switch plugs in, the loose cable for the variable control was not the same.

It is possible to change over the connector housing and modify the wiring to make it work. I did not need to replace the relay.

What year is your car? If you come up against the same problem, I have some pictures and diagrams of how
I got around it.

What you are trying to achieve is a 5K variable resistor in series with pin 9 from the wiper switch to the relay.

It is likely to be a big file though.
