« on: 20 June 2008, 22:50:34 »

Can anyone tell me ,does the ABS warning light in my revcounter on my 2.6CD also act as the low brake pad warning light as i cannot find a seperate light for low brake pad wear .Also Does the brake pad warning include all four wheels or only the front.

I think the brake pad warning is only on one front wheel on the 2.6 and it should display on the MID IIRC

Pad warning comes up on MID/GID/CID display. TID equipped cars do not have warning.

Up to 2001, there is a wear sensor on the inboard pad of both front wheels. 2001 and later, just one sensor on NSF inboard pad.

washer level, oil level( i've read) on mid, so presume wear level would be same My 99 cdx had 2 sensors on fronts, none on rear,1 one each on outside(?) pad, you should be able to see the wires attached to wheel arch to caliper, not to be confused with zenon sensor wire if tou have them. hope helps. :y

must type faster. :-X

ps be ware breaking the sensor, they are ceramic and break easy >:(

Surely the OUT board pad. ie the one you see/get at when the wheel is removed? :-?

No, should be the inboard pad, as the inner pads tend to wear faster...  :y
