fault codes?
« on: 22 June 2008, 21:25:54 »

Hi was hoping someone can tell me how to convert the flashes from the eml while doing the paperclip test into a fault code, when i do it i get the light to flash 10,3,3,5,10,3,4,10,3,5,1,10 then it repeats, not sure if i am reading this right or not so any help would be great, from reading through the forums i am guessing its the crank sensor,if so how can i tell what one i need to get for it to be right for the engine, its a r-reg 2.0 cheers

0335 - Incorrect RPM Signal
0340 - Camshaft Sensor Incorrect Signal
3510 - Not a recognised code

Sounds like a crank sensor failing to me, any other symptoms?

Well so far just before the light comes on the revs dip and a couple of times the revs have gone up and down, but if i pull over turn the engine off and restart it it can be fine for the rest of the day or like today can do it quite a bit
