Well, I got the pump from GSF - Plastic fins but never mind.

Slight problem though, the old one had completely lost its whole fin assembly which would explain the overheating, but after replacement I tried it without the viscous fan and it was still overheating, with the fan back on it sits at around 95 degrees.

Does this sound like the radiator needs flushing? Is there an easy way of doing this with it in situ? It looks far too complicated to take out.

Thanks.

I flushed mine out a little just to see what sort of state it was in, all I did was remove the small bottom hose (the one that runs from near the header tank to the n/s/r of the rad) and bunged my hose in there and flushed it up out the top hose. Then flushed the block in a similar way.

Reconnect all the pipes, fill her up and burp the air out. Mine was fairly clean but a few dregs flushed their way out.

I'd do a few flushes.  Remember, the TD does have a block drain, which is a help.
