Just looked as I got home. Bottom as you say, but I did say in the first place that the 'spoiler'bit is there to push the wiper against the screen. You could work it out from that. :y

I agree with Paul M. It needs to be on the leading edge of directional airflow.. therefore the Bottom!

Think about the aerodynamics, the biggest volume of air starts at the bottom of the screen (after it flows along the bonnet) so the spoiler forces this air over the top of the wiper increasing the pressure. If you put it on the top the air will go under the wiper and the only way it can escape from beneath the spoiler is to lift it off the screen.... not really what you want for good wiping performance!
