« on: 30 October 2007, 07:41:31 »

Going for the snip next week  :o

So, to follow on from the Hot / Cold thread....

I had to shave me bits last night, all went fine, nice and smooth, no nicks  :y

But bloody hell do I itch today  :(

Its driving me nuts (No pun intended  ;D )

I am SO glad I have already had my breakfast!

You weren't tempted to let Mrs Jimbob do the deed then....or worried that you might have had the minor op early as a result!

For some reason I keep picturing a couple of gooseberries....

Had it done many years ago - piece of p*ss, didn't feel a thing. :y However, I did decline when the surgeon asked if I wanted to sit up and watch!! :o ;D My missus even made me test it later that evening to make sure everything still worked!!  :-X

Oh and yes, there is a bit of an itch for a while! ::)

If there is no joke about 'feeling a prick' as they do the anaesthetic I'll be disappointed  ;D

Had to laugh when I read your post Jimbob ;D
I had it done about seven years ago, and I was hearing all the Horror Stories at Work :-?
I was a bit worried to say the least, My mate said his head and heals were the only things touching the bed ;D ;D ;D
But Honestly sat there and watched, a little uncomfortable if anything.
Oh and my leg lifted up when he gave a pull ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Had the same procedure a couple of years ago, but the shaving wasn't a requirement.

The worst bit was finding out that they don't knock you out before the event!  :o  :o

Best bit was when the woman with the local anaesthetic looked at me and said “Are you afraid of needles?"

"No!” I said, as I'm a diabetic, "It's where you're about to stick it that worries me"  ;D  ;D

Good luck!
