Went shopping today in Asdas, when i pulled up in the car park, there was autoglass doing free advice and free repairs to windscreens.
I thought, i will ask the bloke for advice on a small chip i have at the bottom of the screen, yes mate, he says, pull up under the canopy and i will take a look.
It was raining so i had the wipers on intermitant, i pulls up and just as i stopped he leans onto the bonnet and over to look at the screen, i had not even managed to put the car in park or turn it off.
The wiper does a sweep as he leans in, bends the arm on the driver side, grating noise from under the shuttle panel.
I gets out the car with steam coming out my ears, he is still leant over the bonnet, I grabs him as he is also wearing a jacket with zips on the front, i pulled him up and gave him some serious verbal abuse, the edge of the bonnet and top of the wing is scratched from the zip, the wiper is stuffed.
His mate came around to see what i was having a wobbly about, he grabs my arm and asks if i would stop shouting, at this point he had some verbal also. this Pri"k has damaged my miggy, nice shiney, scratch free miggy, i am boiling over, you all know the time i spend on her.
Anyway, his mate has hold of my arm, i say to him if he dont let go i will remove his hand from me, at this point he pushes me onto his van. Thats it, i see red and give it him, after 2 or 3 punches he is now sat in his van apologising for pushing me.
I looked around and the bloke who done the damage to the miggy has set up his kit on the windscreen, and is repairing the chip whilst me and his mate are having a set too.
Outcome.
windscreen repaired.
His boss was contacted and he told me to take the car to Vx on Monday and autoglass will pick up the bill. I have all the details.
I have a brused hand/knuckle
The bloke has a split lip and cut cheek.
