2.5 td oil leak

hi have engine oil leaking fron the left front of undertry is there an oil cooler or any other pipes down that side that are knowen to leak or split

if you mean nearside then thats where the oil cooler lives and the pipes are prone to rusting out!! better get under there and check buddy!!! :y

Also worth checking is the oil filter base-housing to cylinder-block gasket.
This is a thin aluminium-like gasket, and it started leaking on my 'tractor'.
Got one recently from BMW dealer for 3 quid ... ! Part no. is B11.42.2.245.842

I am assuming "aeroquip" is a sort of of replacement pipe , never heard of it.
