airbag warning light on

hi can anybody tell me how i can turn-off airbag warning light on 1998 omega 2.5 td and would it fail mot with it on...thanks for any help :(

Must be the night for it, mine has come on tonight as well -
Driver Airbag Circuit for me.

You need a code reader / resetter to turn it off, and that relies on there being no fault present as well.  No other tricks to do it i'm afraid.

Where are you based?  there maybe someone local who can assist.

MOT seems to be a wooly one.

thanks for that,im in Derby will have to find a garage with a reader thanks again....Dave

What Jimbob says but ..... air bag light is NOT MOTable. My Astra shed passed its the other year with the light on.   [smiley=thumbup.gif]

If you ever get over to South Nottingham, PM Marks DTM Calib - he has Tech2 reader, and most importantly, knows how to use it (unlike dealers and most back street garages).  He is also a damn nice chap :y
