im in a catch 22 here...

on one hand i detest the high price of petrol and agree something should be done, but the blockade will cause fuel shortages and will mean i will lose business as i will not be able to travel.....

I have a couple of days off this week, i must get that LPG kit done

Won't surprise me.  Still struggling to figure out how the price of a barrel of oil is in excess of $100 and no shortage being announced. Unreal how much money the oil companies ...... and the government are making at the moment >:(

Agreed. But governments can stop taking 70% of the price we pay in tax

I agree with the rise in prices, and road tax increases, we need to lesson the amount of vehicles on the road and this is one way of priceing the motorist off the road, travel if you need to, if no one agrees with the price rises then leave the car at home and use our fantastic public transport.

No pain, no gain, if we are to save the planet for future generations, then action needs to be taken, i say put the prices up.

ahh yes the Pratus, or Prikus....

did you know that the Prius has a massive carbon footprint?

they are made in Japan, they have to be shipped and shipping creates massive carbon footprints, a recent report stated that the pruis would have to run on batteries alone for 3 years before it could negate that.....

Nope, raise the prices, we will pay if we want to drive, there is nothing we can, or will do.
Also increase all vehicle taxation, not just 4x4s, bring all cars in line with them, tax caravans also, caravans should pay a PITA tax, get these off the road also.

We need to stop all this pollution, increase taxes and price all off the road if cannot pay.

Miggy - do you also say rise the price of cleaner fuels, such as LPG and bio fuels, which are 70% cleaner?

I think they deserve relief
