« on: 05 February 2009, 12:48:58 »

yep u guessed it, more probs lol

rite instead of seperate posts ill list here whats wrong and if anyone can help with any or all i would be massively appriciative

1.) check oil light warning on but oil is fine

2.) coolant level warning but again is fine

3.) slight play in steering wheel left and right and also if steering is rocked up and down like you were checking a wheel bearing

4.) can hear rear suspension whooshing as i enter speed humps

5.) when engine is left running the engine management light comes on but if i rev it slightly or drive then light goes off and does not reappear until left on tickover for a while

many thanks in advance people  :)

just a suggestion, but can you make the title more relevant? (Imagine if everyone had a similar thread title..)

It is well worth you doing a paperclip test (see the maintenance guide section) - that will tellk you if there are fault codes stored (which may tell you why the EML light is coming on).

Check oil light is probably a faulty level sensor - it should come on when the oil level is roughly half way between the marks on the dipstick.

Check coolant may be a sticking float inside the expansion tank,  or a failed sensor on the bottom.  You can buy a new tank (sensor is integrated) if so.

Are there any signs of leaking suspension struts?
