Fault code

Hi ran a fault code reader on my omega todays as the little orange car with the spanner keeps coming on and off and i got the code p1555, can anyone pls help me from what i can tell its to do with mass airflow sensor but i changed that about 20k ago, any ideas

Not 100% sure ... would think near the pedal thereabouts ....but im sure someone will be along shortly who does  :y

The sensor is on the throttlehouse on top of the intakemanifold.

I have the same fault.

I have a vacuumproblem and I believe this is related.

The ECU calculates the engine load from the MAP reading and the MAF reading and the electronic throttle is adjusted to balance the air/fuel to the load.

If there is a vacuumleak the MAP reading gets screwed and the calculation is faulty.

I'm sure i had same code along with a few others and after being checked by TB i replaced the throttle body (not cheap) Might I suggest a trip to an admin who could help you with a tech 2 read and potentially save you money
